The Sketchup web app is here:
You have to make an account to use it. I will not have any access to your account info, so keep track of it!
Here is the intro I gave my 3D class in the Fall of 2020
Part 2 where I demo the process and talk about more advanced use
A general outline for using it is here:

Navigate the info from the left menu.
Watch these videos to get a handle on the user interface and basic operations.

▾ A. Interface
▾ 1. Workspace
– a) Where the 3d elements of your project live
– B. Measurement input window
– C. Toolbar
– D. Panels
▾ II. Tools vs panels
– A. Tools allow you to directly manipulate the workspace, while panels are settings and info for the model
▾ III. Toolbar- nested tools, are grouped according to similar function
▾ A. Tools
– 1. Select
– 2. Erase
▾ 3. Material- different than color
– a) Paint material and select material
▾ 4. Line tools
– a) Straight Line and Freehand
▾ 5. Arc tools
– a) Several different kind of arc tools-Experiment!
– b) A magenta line when you are drawing means it is tangent to the line it connects to
▾ 6. Shape tools
– a) Quickly draw a rectangle, circle or a few other shape based objects
▾ 7. Push tools
– a) Push/Pull. Follow me and offset, these allow the extrusion of forms and are for building complexity
▾ 8. Solid tools
– a) These are complicated, but allow for complex joining, addition and subtraction of mass and volume
▾ 9. Move/resize tools
– a) Move, rotate, scale
▾ 10. Measuring tools
– a) Useful tools that allow you to mark and measure
▾ 11. Look tools
– a) See what you are doing in a somewhat natural way
▾ 12. Workspace view tools
– a) Allow you to move around the workspace
▾ IV. Panels
– A. Info
– B. Outliner
– C. Instructor
– D. 3D Warehouse
– E. Components
– F. Materials

– L. Solid inspector
▾ V. Workspace
– A. Axis
– B. Navigation- hand and orbit tool
– C. Shortcuts- spacebar, h, o, e
▾ VI. Conceptual structure
– A. Using SketchUp requires that you think through the all of the components of a form: Lines, planes, shapes, volumes, positive and negative spaces.
▾ VII. Basic building
– A. Drawing
– B. Closing shapes
– C. Shape tools
– D. Setting sizes with text
– E. Push pull
– F. Inference
– G. Groups and components
▾ VIII. Activities for demo:
– A. Draw with lines to build a box, using inference and closing in the form.
– B. Draw with shape tools and push pull to create forms, drawing other shapes on faces of the first and pushing to make a void.
– C. Draw a regular form and use the move tool and push pull tool to modify it and make it irregular.
