In this project, the class will pair off into 7 groups of two (one group of three). Each group will develop and build two apparatuses (group of three – 3 apparatuses) that when physically manipulated will complete a circuit.

When constructing your apparatuses, consider Serra’s action verbs and think about the forms and space used to build cubes.

The apparatus must include a found object, and can be supplemented with materials, cardboard, or wood.

The process of activating or deactivating the circuit must be repeatable.

Apparatuses may be operated by one or two people.

Wire will be provided. Projects will use 3 volts direct current (DC).
